Be safe out there, I know it's been REALLY bad South of downtown. Glad you haven't had flooding, hope it stays that way!
Hey all - going to Houston for the first time (that isn't a layover) to spend NYE with family. Any stuff I shouldn't miss? Hoping to have good brisket/bbq.
Ahhhh, my go to BBQ usually is Pit Room. Love Nippon for sushi if you like sushi. Ninfas on Navigation is the best Tex mex. All of this is in town but worth it imo. If you wanna go record store digging, Vinal Edge, Cactus Music, and Sound Exchange are the best
Another good food spot for Vietnamese food is a place I discovered called Dinette. 4-6 is happy hour and it’s a damn good deal
Gypsy Poet was amazing. Thanks for that rec. Gonna try to hit Anomaly after we leave the game tonight (not staying for the whole thing, just the first couple innings).
Again, appreciate that rec… went there for the last hour it was open and has some great hazy IPA’s (and my wife, who’s not a beer drinker, loved their sour).
Hey guys - I'm gonna be in Houston for a few nights in Sept. Going to a gig at 713 Music Hall (Wyatt Flores). Where would be good to stay? Thanks in advance!
