Yup. I was really hoping for a cold December when the temperatures hit the 30s, but it doesn't look like that will be the case.
Not sure if anybody has kids in here but we went to the Children's Museum Saturday and somebody had a good time... View attachment 5601
Pretty underwhelmed honestly. Lorde, Flume, Solange, The Shins, Uzi, P.TM & Cashmere Cat all interest me, but I think this is their weakest lineup in the 4 years i've been going. It seems like selling the fest to C3/ Livenation didn't help much..... Hopefully they get out of that stupid parking lot this year. edit: that said there's a good number of bands on here I've never listened to so I'll have to check them out and hopefully I'll be surprised.
What's funny is that this is what the lineup looks like now that the new ownership is in charge. Looks like they should have stuck with the original crew.
Anyone interested in a free ticket to the BMTH show on Friday? I decided not to go as it's sold out and my friends waited too late to get tickets and I have a pretty busy weekend. I'd hate for it to go to waste though
Yeah I just impulse bought a ticket for pretty cheap. Not even a single band today I want to see, but friends are going so I figured why not. In fact I wish the weather HADN'T cleared up. 'Bout to roast in this humidity.
So it started pouring, my phone got destroyed, and they cancelled the evening performances. Solid. Totally worth it. No regret whatsoever.
I'm still good here in Copperfield. Flooding around but not where I am specifically, just a shitload of rain. Work is closed through at least tomorrow
I'm in Midtown, the roads directly around me are fine but can't get to I-10 because most of those ramps and side roads are flooded out. That was yesterday, I'm sure it's gotten worse overnight. :/
I'm near The Woodlands and at my parents house and the houses in their section are fine. My roommate told me our apartments near 242 aren't flooded either. It's just the roads around these areas that are impassible.
Definitely not surprising. I think I'd be okay to get to 290 as long as I got on at like Hwy 6 or something but couldn't get off until close to 610 or so
Jesus, hope she's safe and it hasn't come into her house! I'm in Cypress/Copperfield and it's raining pretty decent but no flooding except my yard a bit. How about you?
I’m in league city, halfway between downtown and Galveston. It’s raining really hard but no flooding.... yet.
