Household - Everything a River Should Be (February 23, 2018) Album

Solid Emo/pop punkish type band on Equalvision records. Not doing anything crazy different but they are pretty catchy.

Equal Vision Records like Triple Crown Records are still so damn reliable after all these years. They have a mix of nostalgia for me but at the same time they are still so fresh and consistently sign great new bands. OWEL is a perfect example on EVR one of my favorite bands.

 

Already on track 6 it's pretty decent stuff

 

Definitely dig the vocalist

 

Yea it’s cool! I don’t think it’s genre defining material but they do some cool stuff, lots of key changes and time changes.

 

Had to stop it to have lunch finishing the record now couple of tracks left

 

Album was pretty good. I'll play it again when it comes out. Wish it was a little more dynamic towards the end/in the back half but it was still enjoyable nonetheless.

 

Won't hold a candle to the Out of Service record tho @teebs41

Ended up playing the whole album now well 2 tracks left. Vocals and the lyrics are the highlights for me. For what it is this is enjoyable. How did you find out about them @teebs41 ?

This band on Run For Cover called Young Statues is releasing a new ep today their first new music since 2014. You guys familiar with them at all?

 

No but I added it, will listen tomorrow

 

I haven't heard it yet but i've heard all their other stuff so im def gonna check it out too
