TBF it's spelled Qarl haha Need me a James Targaryen, but he's part of the Dornish Marches mafia. Nicknamed Jimmy Targs
yes the spellings are how he gets across totally normie names. but like. people saying they need more recognizable names ... they're already here lol
I've always thought House Beesbury of Honeyholt, House Waxley of Wickenden, House Belmore of Strongsong, and House Peasebury of Poddingfield were very funny. GRRM be like "I'm going to call this family House Picklesford of the Briny Shore, and their sigil will be a Pickle"
i don't entirely disagree. especially with the kinda bad CGI when you see rhaenys first appear. but the episode is still very good.
Meleys was/is so fucking badass looking. I think she’s technically the 3rd biggest dragon after Vhagar and Vermithor? The Blood Wyrm’s design still freaks me out a little bit. It’s so long and skinny haha
It is weird to think Rhaenys decided against torching the Greens for moral reasons and not wanting to inflict that pain on a fellow mother (although Alicent would be torched as well so why does that matter?), and yet her dragon bursting through the ground definitely killed a bunch of innocent citizens, all of who we can assume had mothers lol. Idk...
re-reading F&B from the beginning and i'm definitely taking note of all the ambiguous open ended stuff from the other stories in the book I hope future spinoffs clear up What did the note from the Dornish prince to Aegon say that suddenly made him want to stop the war? How did Maegor really die? Who was behind Septon Moon's assassination? < book spoilers
Got to the part of F&B during Jaehaerys I's reign where Princess Aera comes back to King's Landing from the ruins of Valyria on the back of Balerion with weird Lovecraftian chimera parasites infesting her body. I think I might want this adapted to screen probably more than anything else in this book. I'll say It for the dozenth time in this thread. They need to do Jaehaerys I's reign after they're done with the Dance.
