there was actually a line this week that i caught on the rewatch where daemon says it's been four years since he last saw rhae, so i guess it's only been a year since last week's, yeah. idk what they were on about in the post-episode video.
This was definitely the best episode so far for me, it was the first one where I was fully invested from start to finish (not for horny reasons, just because it felt the most like GOT to me)
Do we think Ser Harwin knew it was Daemon 'chasing' her? He seemed to give a sorta knowing grunt to Rhaenyra like he wanted to fight him and she said "don't", which caused him to pretend he didn't recognize her.
Also found it interesting that V didn’t really seem to care that Rhaenyra snuck out and went to a sex palace place. Like, that didn’t really seem to make him mad, he was more mad at Otto not saying anything definitive.
I read it and contemplated editing the post to just say "stop it David" but then saw Pat's post and laughed out loud so I guess it's staying
I'm still baffled at how much I look forward to this every week and how they just dragged me back in. Last episode really solidified my interest in these characters.
I honestly never used that version of the word/meme but then I saw a meme last night about Criston Cole choosing the "targussy" over his honor and then it stuck in my head and I saw that tweet not long after it lol
Loving this so far, but man i cannot wait for this prelude portion of the season to end and the real meat of this show to start. One reaction from non-book readers i'm excited for once we get into the 2nd half is for them to all to be like "uhhh wait are they really called Jake and Luke?" (book stuff that'll be in the show spoilers) lol
