Some small updates, minor-ly spoilerish I suppose.

Def sounds like we're gonna get a healthy amount of flashbacks.

 

Cool. The throne room is going to have a much more grandiose feel it looks like.

 

I'm at work teaching a class right now and can't watch it so this is quite torturous.

 

Does it? It looked the same they just added more melted swords around it. Definitely a long way from the description.

If season 8 didn't exist I'd be so fucking pumped for this. As it stands, I'm still interested and will watch it, but my expectations have been tamped down.

 

Yessssssss finally watched. Not a lot to go on in terms of what's actually happening, but still excited.

Possible spoiler from the Fire & Blood books, don't read if you don't want to know about a character's death: We may have seen the fight that takes the life of Laenor Velaryon in that trailer. He dies after a fight with his squire/rumored lover, and it looks like he's the one engaged in the one sword fight in the trailer

 

Hopefully this does well so they can try and milk the series more and give us some good Martell/Greyjoy content.
