Aegon IV or "Aegon the Unworthy". That doesn't happen until around 60 years after the story of this show ends. Hopefully we get another spinoff about all that in the future.
I can't find it now, but the meme showing a picture of Rickon with text reading, "couldn't zig-zag" and one of Daemon that read "could zig-zag" made me laugh.
lol...I havent' done neough meme/tweet searching but I hope Daemon looking at the letter gains some steam. But yeah this reminded me that the two Targ men are by far the most perfect casting/writing choices so far. Paddy and Smith are nailing the characters and are pretty much exactly how I imagined them acting from their descriptions in the book. Like, spot on. Maybe the only thing missing is I don't know if they built up enough of the "love" Daemon has from the commoners and stuff. They had that moment in the brothel but I would have liked a little bit more of that. We go to the war in the stepstones and we already have the men questioning his leadership (Though I guess they gave us that dude on the beach at the start crying out for his prince to save him lol) Everyone else is definitely being portrayed ab it differently than I assumed from what I remember of the book. Maybe I need to do a re-read. But as I said before I don't think we got enough of "Realm's Delight" Rhaenyra, Otto is a bit more Littlefinger-y scheming then I assumed, and Alicent is a lot more timid than I expected. Looks like older Alicent will be more like I pictured her based on the previews. The rest of the characters I didn't remember enough or we haven't spetn a lot of time with yet to feel them out (like the Strongs...I will say I wasn't expecting Larys to be as soft spoken as he was but it makes sense). Criston feels pretty accurate so far too. Sea Snake a bit more aggressive than I expected but I said that before too. Laenor has been a bit more than I expected, with the woos while riding the dragon and calling his uncle "Master of Complaints" lol, kind of expected him to be a bit more on the shy/soft spoken side.

Listening to the Ringerverse episode on episode 3 and while I knew there was gonna be a time jump where the characters grow up / change actors I didn’t know the actual number of years and they mention it in the episode and made me literally say “oh wow” because it’s a huge amount of time, will be interesting to see how that plays out with 6(?) episodes left and we’ve “only” covered about 4 years in the first 3 episodes.
Yeah there’s a lot of stuff in the three year jump that would have been good to see and as other outlets and folks have said, the battle in the last episode doesn’t hit as high a note when you don’t really understand what the last 3 years have been and who’s on this other dragon and who is this other dragon, etc. My question after the episode was - were those pirates and Crabfeeder stuck in those fucking cliffs the last three years? What did they eat? Crab and fish from the ocean? You’d think that would run out or supply would be cut off. dude had a lot of guys with him
Finally caught up! The time jumps are quite jarring and leave a lot to the viewer to fill in. Not a huge fan but gotta trust the show runners have this all planned out.
yeah that might be my only casting complaint so far, I was def expecting someone a bit bigger/more powerful looking to play that role
