Idk I liked Tully’s words more. and I’m sorry this is another case of book readers being too nitpicky imo. Just like I had no idea what Blood & Cheese was until it finally happened. The fact so many people got caught up on the line not being said as a child is murdered had me still side eyeing those book readers…

Also after all that emphasis on Helaena eating the soup, I thought the news Rhaenyra was about to get was that she was dead and Alicent poisoned her for a second. Something seemed off about it. Maybe she snuck some moon tea in there? Would be wild if she did and that caused some future events

yeah other than the GOT time traveling issues, ie how the hell did Bold Jon Roxton and his men get to wherever Corlys was so fast, I don’t think show watchers would see anything weird about the scene other than the dumbass move of Corlys to get himself captured/killed like that lol
Love that Gwayne sussed out the assassin wasn’t Arrion Baratheon bc the real Arrion is, among other things, way hotter
