Been too busy all week to watch. Finally did and good god that was amazing. Yeah that was definitely a Season Finale, just glad we don't have to wait so long for the followup. Emma D:Arch killed it in the beginning of the episode, I forreal felt her pain. very surprised we didn't see rhaenyra poke her finger on the throne tho Next week's preview looked goooooood.

Yeah I liked that a lot. Felt like a true POV episode. still can’t believe Corlys screamed that in front of everyone
okay so yeah i assumed he was Fake Daeron just because I thought there was no way to deviate from the book like that haha
Deamon knighting him was funny. The Corlys part was well acted but not earned imo. I do love what they’re doing with Ormund. As a non book reader I wasn’t aware of him. Yeah I was a little disappointed with this ep. I love the thought behind it but I wasn’t thrilled with the execution. Emma killed it per usual. Also yes was not expecting the homie from Balls of Fury lol.
Really curious what they’re doing with Sunfyre. Surely he’s not dead. Also I only recently was spoiled about Corlys defecting. I knew Hugh does. Now with this ep it seems they really ran to that end and it shows.
I enjoyed the style and format of the episode as a one-off and thought it was a clever way to address that this show has too much story to tell with an only eight-episode season Re: Dan Fogler - he’s Luke from TWD to me but apart from Peter Dinklage it always feels kinda weird when an American appears on the ASOIAF shows
