I find the HBO recaps hard to follow since they just use the show's dialogue but I thought this one was really well done and informative:
The dragons are easy because at this point the Greens functionally only have Vhagar (Aemond’s), which is the biggest and strongest dragon but also realistically I imagine two fully grown dragons could take down a single one without much issue Sunfyre (Aegon’s) was hurt during Rook’s Rest (and Aegon isn’t even around to ride it anyway) and the only other Green with a dragon that’s capable of fighting is Helaena, who isn’t exactly a fighter herself

I don’t remember the exact nature of it but I do believe Aemond is injured at Harrenhal in the books. At least I think so.

I’ll put this in spoilers but preface it by saying that, iirc, most of this was speculation in the book, but it will also mention slightly what happens going forward(which I think the show heavily hinted at in that scene anyway) it’s been a long time since I read, but I thought there was an injury to Aemond and Alys helps nurse him back to health. At least that’s what I thought, that she nurses him to health and uses that to get into his good graces. You can see she was kinda pissed off at Daemon for lack of a reward, so definitely alluding to something going on there with how they had Aemond crawling to her and asking for help
absolutely. Iirc, I believe a lot of us were guessing season 2 woulda ended with Rhaenyra sitting on the throne, and it looks like we woulda been right if not for Zazlov lol
