I haven’t seen firm confirmation yet other than a tweet from an account that has had correct info before. I remember seeing that too but I wouldn’t be surprised if the showrunners/actor lied about it lol

Are there any things that they have outright explicitly changed from the books so far? My understanding is that more of it is just filling in gaps in the historical narrative

 

the ages of the Hull brothers seem to be swapped, either that or they switched the narrative each one gets ie gave the older brother the younger brothers story and vice versa. And they significantly aged down both Alicent, and the kids of Aegon and Rhaenyra/Daemon by a few years. In the book Alicent is like 10-15 years older than Rhaenyra and they weren’t exactly BFF. They were on friendly terms until she married Viserys but they didn’t exactly grow up together, to say the least. Aegon’s kids are like 4-5 in the books and have a younger 2 year old brother, and Rhaenyra/Daemon’s kids are supposed to be wanna say like 8 and 6 or something like that? With Joffrey being 10-11ish or so I think.

That’s off the top of my head, I’m sure there’s more if I sat and thought about it lol
