We need a Nikki and Paulo type episode where we discover Mushroom's been around during major plot points the whole time
What a great episode. We got to the preview for next week and I realized we got a whole episode without Criston, amazing. Loved seeing Samson Kayo in this one too, I loved him in Our Flag Means Death
I got to see 300 about a month or so before it was released. I won a contest or something and saw it on the Navy Pier IMAX. I told everyone it was the greatest movie I'd ever seen. Then I saw it when it finally came out and I felt so fucking embarrassed lol. It just feels awesome to see something early. The rose-colored glasses thing is real. I never trust the tweets from normies who see shit early. And even "film journalists" or whatever are not immune from this shit.
Kid who played the little lord Tully in the beginning was pretty good. All the dragon stuff was awesome. Vermithor was awesome. The dragon sounds were awesome.
Hahaha 300 is exactly the kind of movie where if you were the first to see it, it might feel like holy shit I think I just saw something that hasn’t been done. it was such a spectacle without much behind it
Silverwing said “fuck them kids” and was ready to peace out after Ulf accidentally stepped on the egg clutch
I just went to YouTube to watch the episode 8 promo and think I stumbled upon a fake one as the first result because it said something about taming the Cannibal and had a dragon with green fire and shit I was like woh wait a minute that wasn’t the preview I saw lol
he was in season 1, I assume it’s the same guy but who knows. All the shadiness with Otto being nowhere to be found makes me wonder what is happening with that whole part of the story lol
In the previews for next week you see Caraxes roaring at a couple of dragons up in the air…so getting a reunion somewhere…we all know where that happens in the books more or less so
I agree. Was just excited when I saw that people who saw it already had good things like this to say.
I think the showrunners said the dwarf they briefly showed at the wedding last season was indeed supposed to be him
Tell me your thoughts! lol I really hope they’re not setting that preview up for a battle that starts next season.
Non book reader. I kinda assumed Hugh would be brave enough for Vermithor. In the books was it mentioned the dragon tamers weren’t involved in the sowing? I’m assuming the sowing was more drawn out. That whole segment in the Dragonstone dragon pit was very well done. Vermithor was absolutely ruthless and absolutely just behaving how Viserys claimed all along. “It’s an illusion” they’re true gods and aren’t meant to be fucked with like that. Obviously Reaynera mentioned they would be killed. When Ulf fumbled into Silverwing’s lair….idk that was straight out of JP Wayne Knight’s character happening upon the Dilophosaurus. It was creepy and thought for sure he was done. Oscar absolutely mopped the floor with Deamon. Can’t believe how in charge he was. That was truly a spectacle. Have no idea what they’re gonna do in the finale. I’m just not expecting a big battle to end the season? It would be ever unlike GoT/HOT D to end on a battle? I’m trying not to get my hopes up.
I really cannot think of a stupider possible method of finding dragonriders than how Rhaenyra did it. Just having them all go at once? When she knows that that’s never been how it’s worked? It was totally obvious that if the first person fucked it up then the dragon would have caused collateral damage, it’s literally what happened last episode. She has one good idea this entire season and then almost completely blows it, just moronic. Daemon is also being an idiot. Obviously he views all the Riverland lords as beneath him, but there’s no reason to make him so dumb that he can’t realize how close he was to losing their support. They all very explicitly throw it in his face just how much they’re contemplating ditching him. Yet he continued to demean them throughout that scene
