Yes. Aegon I had two sons. His first son and heir Aenys he had with his sister-wife Rhaenys, and his second son Maegor with his sister-wife Visenya.
FINALLY got caught up and watched the episode. Man even though I knew it was coming....I was so hyped throughout the episode, it was fantastic. Glad to see it reviewing so well can't wait to see Sunday's. Hahahaha I'm deadddd.
Mild speculative spoiler about a character we’ve already met and a future character from the books that may or may not even make it into the show. Won’t say anything about his actions though: I keep thinking about Harrold Westerling completely disappearing this season, and after reading through Rise of the Dragon and getting the basic plot outlines of the Dance refreshed in my brain again, it’s making me wonder if he shows up later disguised as Black Trombo
Book/future spoiler Jace is definitely dying in episode 6 or 7, which really kind of sucks feel like we barely got to spend time with him. Is a shame they didn’t show his bromance with stark
I’ve read the 5 main books, F&B, World of Ice and Fire and some of the other stories but decided today to start buying the audiobooks of at least the main series since I don’t have the luxury of getting a lot of time to read like I used to. I assume all of the main books at least have great narrators. About an hour into A Game of Thrones and really enjoying the narrator and being able to listen while multitasking with other stuff.
yeah he does a great job with it, different voices for all the characters and such. hes the dude that played the pyromancer in season 2 of GOT Harry Lloyd (Viserys in GOT) does the dunk and egg Knight of the Seven Kingdoms book does those well too
Watching The Crown and obviously there’s been a ton of GOT/HOT D crossover of actors. Though I’m in s4 and Margaret Thatcher’s son is the same actor as Gwyn aka Alicent’s Bro
This was cool. Felt like more of a season 1/2 GOT episode…except for maybe all the weird Harrenhall stuff haha. Though I guess that could be akin to the faceless men plot in GOT S2
felt like i pretty mid episode, though im sure ill be told in posts that are redacted more than state documents about all the things it sets up
