I haven’t listened to it yet but the The Ringer’s House of R episode on the episode is 3.5 hours long…..what the fuck lmao.

But seriously I don’t listen to podcasts and I don’t think even a HOTD one could get me to listen to 3.5 hours of one about one episode lol

 

I listen to them, I actually listen to the official HotD that airs afterwards.....and it's only an hour long. Longest I can do is like 2 hours.....3.5 is overkill lol.

 

honestly it was pretty good outside of the first 45 minutes pouring over the credit sequence lol

 

House of R is great because they are both really knowledgeable about stuff and have a deep love and passion for most of the stories they cover. House of R is also bad because they really aren't funny but find themselves hilarious a lot of times, this is the case for about every Ringer podcast.

 

Finding HOTD/asoiaf Twitter has been both a blessing but also a curse because some of these people are insane

 

So true lol there’s a couple users I’ve seen treating it like life and death with team black/green. Like legit threatening people and acting like it’s real

Podcasts are truly an abomination

 

honestly those people are funny and I can deal with that. I’m seeing people that are like enraged that Rhaenyra and other Targs are getting better “storylines” than Dany did, and they only exist because of Dany, and they’re stealing some of Dany’s best storylines and quotes from the books and giving them to Rhaenyra or whatever. Legit insane people lol

 

Legit do not understand the weird online factionalism for a story that is a tragic parable of why factionalism is bad. Assuming they just don't know that is the intention yet. Both sides are setting themselves up for disappointment here. The hardcore Team Black people online especially are eventually going to fucking hate this show < book spoilers
