Whoa, spoilers. this is a joke. I have to clarify because the last time I jokingly said something like this, some people thought I was serious despite the information clearly not being a spoiler in any way.
Though in defense of halitosis jones, I think it was mostly a spur of the moment shock response to seeing him because, as far as I can remember, there was no indication from the book that we’d see him this early. In the book he really does just kind of come out of no where and is suddenly there, so I think just the surprise of oh wow that’s him already caught him/other book readers off guard lol
Like I said - whatever, not a big deal. But it most certainly is a spoiler. All good. Go Bucks! Go Milwaukee!
I am am admitted hater of spoilers. I try to spoiler tag everything I think might hint at something because I like not knowing stuff haha
I dunno how many of you guys watch the GoT Burlington Bar reactions, they've been filming GoT reactions from this Chicago bar for nearly a decade. It's so cool GRRM did this for them.
I mean flat out spoilers are one thing I hate those too, but I'm just not a fan of people thinking anything that's said that they don't have knowledge of, can be construed as a spoiler. There's varying degrees, like I can say that dragons die.....well duh. Obviously these dragons aren't around in GoT. This is obviously war time, a civil war. But I'm not saying which, I'm not saying how, I'm not giving details. I'm not even saying if they die in the war or of old age! I'm not giving any context. Or I remember the talk (not here but elsewhere) last season and I'm sure now where people are wondering about the other kids the show hasn't shown and some people said it was spoilers because they didn't want to know.....here's an interview with Condal about last night's episode regarding just that and B&C: 'House of the Dragon' Boss on That Shocking Season 2 Premiere Scene
see I hate that decision because what is gonna come later on. It feels like it will limit what needs to be done to wrap this story up. Is Aegon the Younger only gonna be like 5 when he’s sitting there during the Hour of the Wolf? Will be really dumb imo. You were doing so much time hopping in season 1 that just adding a few years in there here and there wasn’t going to be anything anyone noticed, so you shoulda just done it
they really should have. I also don't like his answer there because to me it shows they're willing to handwaved, to easily excuse missing stuff and it's like......no dude you're missing important pieces to the picture. Condensing 30 to 20 is such a bad idea lol. And I think they're hard set on only having 4 seasons??
Book readers in here do suck shit. They’re like “idk the lipstick Alicent was wearing was lighter than described in the book it kinda took away the impact of the small council” fucking nerds. just enjoy the show without comparing everything to the book.
well yeah I figured you were using hyperbole to point out book readers complaining about minor details and I really don’t think that’s been the case here. it’s been somewhat insufferable on socials though
