EP is out today. Snuck up on me. Still don't love Fire, but I have high hopes for the rest of it.

 

Seeing it live, Fire goes off. It works so much better in that context

 

Huh, weird. This EP didn't really move the needle for me at all. I loved the first EP. Not sure if it's diminishing returns or they didn't let it cook long enough, but it was fine. In one ear and out the other.

 

Really digging this. "Godspeed" is killer.

 

killer release. I love the way they are approaching new music. Lots of videos, short tight full releases. Cant wait to see this live. I dig the supposed to hurt, fire tracks as rippers for working / running a lot. Feel like people are sleeping on this band. Hoping they get great opener spots on big tours so more people can see this glorious madness.

Everything about this band rules. The steady stream of new tunes is probably the best I’ve seen. Bands that have a record in the can but put out a single at a time kind of annoys me, but with HOP the singles, videos, and EPs are a really cool and refreshing approach for me.

 

Part of me wants a full length release, but if they just keep up fast-feeding us EPs, I'm all about that. Jazzed to see what pops up on Thursday.

 

Drummer had a kid right when this project started which is why they are focusing more on tunes and videos and not touring as much
