Wait, there are people who think Pilot is better than YBF??

 

I just listened to both back to back and definitely prefer YBF. Way catchier imo.

YBF is a fantastic record. Pilot is simply good.

 

Pilot hooked me immediately but You'll Be Fine just never gets old. I listen to a song or two from it every day.

 

I had not heard of them until YBF was days away from coming out and I’ve listened to that record a lot a lot this past year. This new song is a little more controlled and maybe a little less immediate to my ears, but I am still excited to hear more new stuff an see where this goes.

 

The vinyl in their merch store sold out but then I saw these. Picked up the black and white.

I really like this song. I didn't love YBF like a lot of you, I felt like the songs and melodies really called for more singing like this and less throat shredding. I'm on board if this is the direction moving forward.

 

Gami is keeping it the torch alive too for sure

I liked the you’ll be fine vocals. Sounded a little fed up and exhausted and gave the album some personality when done the right amount. I didn’t know there were people who didn’t until this EP was announced.

I agree with that sentiment. That's why they're the ones walking. I was struggling to think of an older band with absurd song titles.

Probably been my #1 "stayer" album. Doesn't expire for me. At first I was mildly impressed but its been a grower and is easily one of my all time favs from this era.

 

100%. It's like Spanish Love Songs all over again for me. First listen was like "yeah this is good." but now I know almost all the lyrics and play it 3-4 times a day. Can't wait to see these guys live.

 

Haha man Spanish Love Songs are so awesome yet I can barely regularly listen cause it's his voice is just so fuckin sad. Like my teenage self would have eaten it up, but where I'm at I kind of just need vocals that pumps me up.
