I know tons of people who like that Microwave record but I just didn't return to it all that much.

Vocals will need to grow on me, but instrumentally this sounds fantastic. Reminds me of Listen and Forgive era Transit, and maybe even some Gospel from Fireworks. Two of my favorite albums in the "genre", so I'll need to keep giving this chances.

EDIT: seeing a lot of people making the TMP and Free Throw comparisons too, and I can see that some, mainly vocally, but the guitars have a little more melody, and less "shredding to show off guitar skill" than those two.

This is kind of what I wish A Will Away would sound like.

  14. The guitar work on this album rules. Not sure if the vocals will grow on me, but I hope so - they sound really nice on the softer songs.

These guys have a talent for catchy melodies. Love this album, although the complaints of Tades' vocals being too sceamy are legit. Not sure why he took that approach. He's going to destroy his vocal chords trying to sing these songs live.

Digging it on first listen, need to give it some more time but going in on Silverstein now.

    u wut m8?

The vocals on this album are awesome; I love the emotion and aggressiveness. "Digging in" is probably the best thing they've ever done. Such a great song

This is not bad, but I don't know if I'm a fan of the screaming vocals on this record. I'm not anti-screaming or anything, I just don't really dig them here. Maybe they will grow on me.

the manic scream singing is my favorite. doesn't sound exactly the same but its kinda reminiscent of glocca morra
