Been getting into these guys lately. I’ll peep the new album when it drops. Feal like crab is real good
New song slaps but Feal Like Crab is better. Although, if this goes anything like Pilot did for me, the singles will end up being my least favorites. Still listen to that album a few times a week.
Time I get into these guys. They’ve only been in my area a half dozen times. Overdue! These new songs are clicking for me.
I like the new one a lot but I’m just so weary because every other band in this style has eventually revealed themselves to be shitheads recently.
I think he’s a little more screamy, yeah. I think its a more true to what they sound like live. I’m a little surprised because multiple times I’ve seen them both Tades and Chris have said they were on doctors orders to not scream but they both do anyway.
Honestly, that's my only gripe with these new songs. I can't make out half of the lyrics on Sunglasses.
I think the screaming's kind of cool, but if every song has this same singing/scream type then it'll be more grating than enjoyable. I thought Microwave really ruined a lot of their momentum going that way on their last album.
I think you're probably right that it hurt Microwave by going heavy instead of continuing down the more atmospheric rock (IDK if that's the right term) path. I love that album though and I think it's their most cohesive one yet.
