So I "pre-ordered" You'll Be Fine and Pilot on vinyl three months ago and haven't heard any update whatsoever. A date was never attached to the order, so I figured it'd be 6-8 weeks or so, but we're going on 12 and no update from the label or anything. I get that vinyl production right now has major delays, but every other album I've ordered that was delayed, I've received multiple notifications about delays. Nothing for these.
They mentioned at one of the VIPs on tour that they're releasing an acoustic EP before the end of the year. PUMPED.
Man I think Swag acoustic would just be brutal emotionally and I'm here for it. I'm assuming acoustic of old stuff but, new stuff?
New acoustic EP out on 12/10 First song up for streaming now Tracklist: 1.SPS - Acoustic 2.Featuring Mark Hoppus - Acoustic 3.Pop Shuvit (Hall of Meat, Duh) - Acoustic 4.BCKYRD - Acoustic
This show is amazing so far but I still can’t get over how bad that pre-show music playlist was. Fucking yikessss. Sincere Engineer absolutely killed it.
it got better but at the very beginning of the show it was 3OH!3 and other like bands with extremely misogynistic lyrics.
Not that this is going to make you feel any better but HM posted on their Instagram today that doors were at 6. But even then, most shows start an hour after doors.
Sad that Sincere Engineer had to drop, but honestly thank god for a 3 band show that starts at 7 and will likely be over by 10. Feeling #blessed
The show on Saturday had all 4 bands and was still over by 10:30. They may also just give the openers a little more time with one less band?
I regret not buying the I Won't Reach Out To You vinyl on Saturday. And I still have no idea where my Pilot and You'll Be Fine vinyl are that I ordered back in July.
It seemed like they did give the other openers more time, which was cool. Super American mentioned it was a different set than they had been playing, and Pdaddy played an impromptu acoustic set because one of them was sick (not with Covid, they tested multiple times). The show got over at like 10:15 and that was with HM cutting it a little short/not playing an encore because crowd surfers were getting out of hand. Honestly respect them for doing that, it was really escalating during the last few songs and someone was going to get hurt.
Yeah it was bad. Just tons of people that didn’t know what they were doing and seemed to be consistently landing on this group of small girls in the front row. The band called it out near the end and you could tell they were getting visibly pissed at the same few people. But it continued past them calling it out, so after the last song they kind of threw down the mic and made a motion like “we’re done, not coming back out”. They did come back out a minute or so later just to check on the girls in the front row though and make sure they were ok.
I was a little surprised on Saturday that they were just allowing any random person to get on stage to stage dive. I haven't seen that in a long, long time (even pre-Covid).
