Literally playing the entire album, which is cool. Kind of bummed they're leaving off a ton of gems on You'll Be Fine tho.
I’m glad they played the entire album since I think it’s easily the best thing they’ve done but some of the songs they didn’t play off of you’ll be fine surprised me.
Totally fine with them playing the new album. It’s one of my favorites of the year and it leaves room open to bring back older favorites on future tours.
The person sitting next to me during Betty last night literally screamed and left and said “I can’t listen to this song I’ll cry” and came back like 5 minutes later.
Does anyone need a ticket for Boston tomorrow? I have an extra that I bought for a friend who can't go. I'd take $30 for it, so you can save on TM's fees. It's GA Floor. EDIT: Sold.
Interesting that they’d post it now during their current tour. I went to check the setlist from Sunday and there was nothing there, thinking maybe they played it that night. But you’re probably right because I’m pretty certain that backdrop is different than their current one.
They were absolutely freaking fantastic from start to finish in Boston, but Tades said multiple times that he screwed up his throat and shouldn’t do the encore (but did.) Something to keep an eye on for upcoming dates. Hopefully he’s good. For what it’s worth, he sounded great even after he started talking about it.
No yeah I’ve seen them a couple times recently. there is no way he doesn’t destroy his voice in the next 5 years. catch em while you can
Yeah, I've been thinking that. He sounds phenomenal live, but no chance he can keep this up. I mean, he's really letting go. Also, I have liked this album since the release, but for whatever reason haven't gone back to it as much as previous HM stuff, but since seeing it live on Saturday, I've listened to this album more times in the past 5 days than I did prior to it. Seeing it live, really clicked with me.
He made a comment onstage at Sad Summer saying that when writing the Why Would I Watch songs he didn't realize how hard on his voice they would be to do live
They said this was their biggest headline show at 2600. They sounded SO good. SLS goated too sucks they seem to love the HAM dudes :/
