This might now be my favourite album of theirs. It’s close between this and You’ll Be Fine, which is less consistent but has a couple of real stand out songs. Still playing this regularly.
Shouldn’t have a leg hole is one of my favs and it doesn’t get mentioned much. Such a tight song with a great transition to “It’s a family…”
Still unreasonably perplexed that Drink Milk and Heem aren’t on this album, but yeah, it’s still fantastic. Absolutely STOKED for the tour (minus HAM)
For a band that is so online I’m surprised they agreed to have HAM as direct support. I know more goes into it and I’m sure they’re friends but still
i'm assuming heart attack man and their obnoxious online presence. i'm not aware of any allegations against them but lemme know if i'm wrong.
Admittedly never even heard of them until this tour was announced, but lots of talk about them in the SLS thread. Aside from the comments below, I am annoyed HAM is billed above SLS because I don’t want to sit through HAM and I also don’t want to show up to the venue super early. But I can’t miss SLS so I will be stuck there for HAM.
First few listens of the album I didn't even noticed they were two seperate songs since that transition is so good lol
There are so many lyrics on WWIW that create vivid imagery in my brain knowing the places Tades is singing about... the corn fields of Cornell, the church in Flat Rock... but nothing hits this Yooper's heartstrings quite like: Mackinac / just across the bridge / did you ever see the island?
FIRE! Just ordered the wrestling with them on it T. And they have big people sizes too. This'll rock to pretty much every concert I go to in the next few years (except HM cause you know, rules.)
Just saw them last night in Glasgow. Absolutely gutted they didnt have those wrestling t's at the merch table. Majority of merch was same or slightly different from the last uk tour.
Was anyone else at the Leeds show on Friday? The encore ended prematurely when this guy decided to jump from the balcony into the pit and managed to knock himself out. Pretty surreal. He was coming round when everyone left.
Seeing these guys in Birmingham with Spanish Love Songs this Friday. Super hyped, although they apparently aren’t playing Cock Party so I might riot. Hyped to hear the chorus of Ft Mark Hoppus live again, it pops off.
The singer sang the first line of Betty, as a fake out, and said “Yeah… We could do that to you! We could!”
