Haven't been in a Hot Mulligan thread yet. Got into them a few months ago and I've been listening to them more than anyone else - definitely my favorite band at the moment. Really excited for new stuff!

 

Really enjoyed the new single. Going to see if I can get some resale tickets for the show near me. The undercard is very good too.

 

New single is one of my favorites from them, some MCS in the melodies - a Justin feat would’ve been just as good

 

Haven't listened to the second single yet and at this point, I'm gonna be a good little boy and wait til the album comes out next Friday.

The lyric sheet for this is upsetting even out of context, fucking hell. Pitched for this kinda last minute so let's see how I get on with it. Bed Bug Island into AABL is quite a way to open.

 

Monday of release week and they've only released two songs. Normalize that and short rollouts.

 

This rules but Jesus Christ it's such a devastatingly sad album on the whole, proceed with caution.

I mean hell, the amount of references to getting absolutely smashed drunk as a way to escape your problems (yeah there's even more than Island in the Sun) punched me in the chest and I'm 17 months sober next week.

I think I read that every HM album has a song about her. I know 'Smahccked My Head Awf' is about her, but what are the songs on the earlier albums? If anyone knows.

No surprise, but this is really good. Love the guitar work here - at times it reminds me of You’ll Be Fine.

The way my jaw fucking dropped when I got to this on the lyric sheet. Three songs about Tades's grandma on this one and they all fucking HURT.
