Last night's set was hella fun and the band sounded great. Tades seemed a little fucked up though and I feel like Chris kept cutting him off or starting the next song to keep him in check lmao
I see they haven't changed their terrible lighting package. That's a shame. Made it nearly impossible to watch them when I saw them two years ago.
The lighting for that Coachella set was 5000 times worse than the fall headliner. I had to turn the Coachella set off due to the lighting being so distracting.
Yeahh it was hard to see anything during their set. Labrinths set last night also didn't seem very epileptic friendly, lots of flashing white lights non stop
Just gotta say that Smahccked My Head Awf might be my favorite song ever from a lyrical perspective and the emotion behind Tades' vocals. Just so good. Every now and then I just play it over and over on a loop. It's always able to bring a couple tears to my eyes if I read the lyrics in Apple Music as it plays haha. Both of my grandmothers had dementia and the thought of it happening to either of my parents in the distant future is scary.
Crazy how huge this band has gotten in such a short time. Saw them in a 300-400 cap room like 4 years ago to now at a 5000+ outdoor venue. Is armadillo shells like a tiktok song or something? Had no idea that in particular was a big hit for them until last night lol.
