Frozen Wilds is officially out. Everyone get stoked as fuck.

 

Already downloaded just need to go home. Apparently reviews are strong.

 

Just purchased and started downloading so I’ll be ready to play when I get back from class.

I forgot how much I love this game

 

Did the tall neck and then did a side quest involving shutting water off at a dam.
Am I to believe a bunch of robots started a band?

 

Definitely gonna download frozen wilds this weekend after the work week so I can leisurely play it.

 

I hate the scorchers so fucking much.

 

yo to the people who have beat the expansion (if any), what seems to be the average length of it? a few reviews have said 15 hours, which is great i think, but im just looking for a more accurate length.

 

I've played for about 15 hours so far and I'm not done. Although I was struggling to get used to the controls again at first lol

 

Oh damn I didn't think it would be that long. I don't have time for all these games.

 

It's not really that long. There are quite a few side quests that can take a bit longer. You can finish the main quest in maybe four or five hours.

 

I finished it now. Done all the side quests and it took me about 17 hours.

 

Anyone wanna tell me where the Cauldron is in this frozen shithole? I'd Google it but I don't wanna risk any accidental spoilers.

Edit: Also holy shit the Powershot Bow. On a frozen Snapmaw, 3 fully charged precision arrows did over 1100 damage. That's absolute bananas.

 

Waiting for this bad boy to download right now.

I just buy a lot of fire resist potions

 

Man, I love how this game can sit on my shelf for 4-5 months, and once I pick it back up. All my feelings about how much I love it return immediately.

Does it take place before the ending of the game or after?

 

It takes place before. It probably works better if you’ve never played the game. Then it becomes another area of the game for you to explore and adds a good 10 hours. Otherwise there isn’t anything revealed story wise that we don’t already know.

 

Ohhhh, got it so it's just a new area with no new real story beats?

I'll still take it because I love this game so much. Dunno when I'll have time for it but it's on my list.
