Remaster sounds crazy good

 

This remix/remaster sounds brilliant! It's like hearing The Satellite Years for the first time all over again. It's so much cleaner, punchier and less muddy. So many little nuances I've never heard before. One of my all time favorite albums sounds so much better!

Pretty stoked to have scored the alt cover repress from a kind individual from this site who nabbed me one at Furnace Fest.

 

Wow it is a significant remaster, background instrument and vocal layers brought right up in the mix, bass and bass drum a lot more prominent, everything sounds a lot clearer and fuller. I thought the original was perfect but this is on another level again.

 

Love this album before and love it after. Both versions amazing. Happy to have both.

 

And no effects on Matt’s vocals on Escape Pods

 

really really aching for a magnetic north repress, i cant even find stupidly expensive overpriced used copies of this fuckin thing. nobody wants to part with it which does not surprise me as its one of the best albums ive ever heard but

 

Crazy we're soon going on 6 years since Hall of the Sky's release, and Equal Vision still doesn't want to let them drop the other songs recorded during the same sessions... what's even the hold up
