I am absolutely enthralled by this album, and this is coming from someone who found their previous albums just pretty good. This probably 3rd on my top 10 of the year list

Just came back from seeing Hopesfall in Brooklyn. HO-LY SHIT. That crowd was insane. Great setlist, too.

That’s a great setlist. I am so jealous. Praying that they come over to the UK and play a show in Scotland.

 

Would love a couple of UK shows!

 

My experience as well. Only ever found 3-4 songs per album that I really enjoyed, but this one's great almost the whole way through.

Missing the 3 new songs I'd be cool with them skipping, but also missing 2 of my favorites ("Bradley Fighting Vehicle" and "To Bloom"). Awesome that they're playing half the album though.

 

After listening nonstop Bradley Fighting Vehicle is my favorite.

 

Love this l’album.

 

Not sure how I never heard of these guys before since the style is up my alley, but this is pretty damn good. Very nostalgia inducing.

 

I was a little worried about the sameiness on the first couple of listens but I'm on listen 6 or 7 by now and the songs are really starting to breathe on their own. This will be very high on my year end list no doubt

 

Anyone seen a setlist for the second night at St. Vitus?

 

Anyone know whether all vocal tracks on this record are the same dude? If so, he sounds like anything from a post-hardcore Robert Smith at times to Billie Joe Armstrong on the closer, which is oddly impressive.

 

They played the same set.

Entire album is really great though! Gotta go through their old albums again, never really caught my ear before

 

Picked up Magnetic North the other day, and am even more annoyed I somehow missed these guys back during their OG run. Think I would've gotten into that record in 2007 just as much as I am now.

As for the new LP, To Bloom is fantastic, but I think the closer is the highlight.

Finally gave this a listen. Have no past experience with Hopesfall, but this was really good. Super melodic, was not expecting that.

 

Yeah. One of my favorites this year. Listen to it frequently.

Not sure exactly what it means, but the point to have 2019 in the top right corner seems relevant.
