Ehrlichs review is so negative my hype circles around to being now I gotta see what this abomination looks likes

This really seems like it boils down to whether you can deal with shitty CGI or not (and who knows, they may fix some of that stuff before release). There’s also some talk that the script kinda becomes a mess, but I don’t really care about that in a movie that seems to be doing so many cool things. Also sometimes messy is fun I’m really pumped for it, the people who like it seem to REALLY like it. Even Ehrlich concedes that the first hour is electric.
Bad CGI can definitely hurt a movie for me but maybe it’ll be different if I go in expecting it? It’s also hard to imagine that the CGI is as bad as he says.
I’m not familiar with this director and didn’t know anything about this, but the trailer in front of I Love Boosters was really cool imo. Seems like a fun time.
