I honestly haven’t listened to this in full yet but they’re playing a show at a small venue in the next town over tomorrow with Saintseneca so I grabbed a ticket and am ready to party.

 

This is my favorite album of the year by far, one of my favorite vocal performances of all time too probably..can’t wait to finally see them Thursday

Seeing them less than 2 weeks.

 

Great show last night in Nashville. The new songs sounded great (especially “Prior Things”), but they seemed to really hit a new level in the encore, which was flat-out stunning.

 

yeah this band was perfect when I saw them and I just wanna see them again asap

 

Seeing them Saturday! This is still far and away my favorite album of the year. I have to say, I still can't really get into Get Disowned at all. Even Tibetan Pop Stars doesn't do much for me. They've consistently gotten better and better with each release in terms of songwriting and melodies and such.

 

Get Disowned took a long time for me to get into. Laments was the song that finally made it click for me.

 

Yep, still easily the best thing to come out this year. My show still isn't for like 3+ weeks

 

God damn this album sounds pretty on wax.

'Laments' is a goddamn stunner! 'Young and Happy!' is another favourite.

If anyone has trepidation towards Get Disowned, seeing them live and hearing the whole venue scream along to 'Tibetan Pop Stars' should remedy that.

 

I'm planning on making the trek to Seattle in August to see them even though it's an 11-hour drive. Neeeeed to hear these songs live. I haven't listened to anything else even half as much.

 

Last night was one of those perfect shows. The lineup. The performances. The setlists. The crowd vibe. The band reactions to said vibe.

Just lovely.

Either way, The Sidekicks this weekend will make up for it

Finally got my cd today after a shipping fuck-up with my preorder. Pumped.

 

I just grabbed the cassette from my local shop because it’s a nice green and also why not

 

They were excellent in Indy

 

I realized today that everyone in my building must have either grown to love this album or grown to hate me.

 

Heard this two and a half times now and I don't know if any of you have realised this yet but it fuckin rules.
