Finishing up my first listen and loving this. The strings on “Prior Things” are so cool.

 

Haven't bought a record in like 6 months but I may have to trek out and go find this

I feel so guilty when I can’t get into certain records/bands. This being one of them. I really liked How Simple and a couple off Painted Shut, but this just isn’t grabbing me.

 

My favorite part of the album atm

 

I need the genius lyrics updated to get the full scope of this vocal performance. We need a syllable by syllable break down.

 

That’s kinda what I think is gonna make everything click for me tbh.

 

i take it back "the fox in motion" is perfect i forgot. i think i was just in a bad mood yesterday

 

i just kinda miss the thicker guitar parts and overall propulsion of painted shut

 

it's v likely however that in three months or so i'll think this is the best album ever made

 

or maybe in the next three days

 

I really hope the records shops here have this. Going to go after work and see

FYI, I only saw like 3 copies at sonic boom, but rotate had a stack in case you can’t find it there anymore.

Trying to get my little sister to go with the show they're playing here as I sorta kinda got her into them

 

completely unrelated to the album but I worked a banh mi place at university of delaware called banh mi boy. no relation at all to what you two have just a great coincidence. I miss it so much.

 

Man idk I haven’t fallen in love with this yet. Was surprised to come in here and see it so unanimous. I feel like it’s missing some sort of edge to it. Idkkk.
