Greet Death This Will Destroy You (A Tunnel Vision comparison was made on the previous page) Gates Slow Crush Hundredth (specifically 2017 and after) Cloakroom
Yeah it's been mostly heavy and/or atmospheric rock/metal music for me lately: Holy Fawn The Appleseed Cast Caspian Circa Survive From Indian Lakes Greet Death Hammock Jakob Mol Russian Circles Sannhet This Will Destroy You Thursday
I'm a fan of the first three already and I'm going to echo the Greet Death recommendation to anyone who hasn't listened to that band yet. Their new album is fucking tight. I'm gonna add Cloakroom and Hundredth to my library though!
They are essentially post metal with hints of atmospheric black metal without the crazy vocals. I had a chance to speak them quite a few times and their lead guitarist LOVES Isis, which is a great place to start.
Honestly get some Hopesfall vibes from this band as well. The wall of sound... had never heard of this band until yesterday but loving all of it so far.
Unfuckingbelievable. The tickets say “doors at 6/show at 7.” I got there at 7 on the dot and apparently Holy Fawn played at 6:30 so I missed them
Fuck, I’m double furious for you. That’s definitely happened to me before, got into an ugly & public internet beef with the promoter hah. Hope it’s not long before they’re back your way :/
I hope that’s not the case tomorrow. same doors/set times listed. work until 6 so it’ll be a rush across town already.
They were fantastic last night; I was really vibin' with their entire sound, the whole set. Didn't seem like the rest of the crowd was all that into it, which was weird. They were instead more into mewithoutyou, who I thought were awful, but who am I to say. Going through the rest of Holy Fawn's catalog today
