still haven't beat Silksong (never got to Act 3) someday maybe i'll have the patience/grit/perseverance to push thru the bullshit of some of the fights, but i'm still getting really frustrated by numerous parts of it to the point where i'm not having fun anymore (i still need to beat SBF & that one superlong gauntlet for that one melody thing for starters)
beating cogwork dancers and lost garmond makes me cry every time. sometimes if a fight stops being fun (plasmified zango, watcher at the edge--specifically the runback) or was never fun to begin with (bell eater) i cheese it with architect crest and poison tools just to get past it. not with seth. nope. never. and if it gets too frustrating, i take a step back for a sec, so that when i'm in the fight, i'm always in high spirits. i give it my all. i give him the kind of fight he deserves. and after achieving every ending to the game i will see his name in the credits and remember the man, the myth, the legend.
Did Nyleth (about a dozen tries) and Khann (about two dozen tries, the gauntlets specifically). Also Palestag and that one gauntlet in Verdania (in one go!!!). I think that's enough for today. Verdania is pretty and all but just thinking about the Clover Dancers makes me wanna cry
I know it wouldn’t have fit the vibe of the game but I do still wish the coral area and Verdania were accessible outside of those one-off dreams
100% completion! well, i haven't tried the lost lace fight yet, and probably won't because it's the hardest thing in the game, but i've done basically everything else that goes towards that % i ended this playthrough with clover dancers and karmelita, and while the latter had me a bit frustrated, i'm pretty satisfied with having replayed two of the best fights and finally ready to move onto another game. ...oh by the way, i ran into a third moss mother fight in act three, this time voided, towards the beginning area of the game. that's one surprise i don't think i experienced in my previous playthrough. it's not a very interesting fight, but it's cool that it's there.
