Final boss is honestly pissing me off, it feels like it punishes dashing

To clarify it does feel winnable but I am finding it extremely frustrating

Managed to beat Phantom on my first try. Very fun fight!

Honestly I should probably go get all the stuff for 100% and Mister Mushroom achievements because I don’t think I’m going to feel like doing this twice

Took a break after Act 1 and now I feel so behind the thread. Loving Act 2. Got my 2nd mask which feels like it will make a big difference.

  6. The Mount Fay delivery request is the only quest that I will not be completing. Losing a tick for running into a wall or soaring into the ceiling is dumb and they should patch it out.

My thumb is raw after how much I played today and how long cohort core took me.

Made it to the Two Big Guys in the halls gauntlet. ran out of tools and died.

really should try other stuff but can't figure out where I can actually go next everything seems locked behind abilities I don't have yet Guessing I get a double jump somewhere as it'll let me get to like 3-4 new places...

I’m probably 5-6 hours into attempts at the final boss and just can’t finish it. I had a run last night that HAS to have been 1-2 hits away and it was devastating

  11. I have three of the hearts and I still want to fight Karmelita. Did not expect another gauntlet leading up to her area, nor did I expect the area to be so large. After that, I need to find two remaining mask shards and then take on the final boss.

The lead up to the Coral Tower boss was like 10x as hard as the boss himself which was a bit of a relief. I became a very big fan of charge attacks during that run.

Do you have the clawline grappling ability that lets you hook on to the floating rings? If so then you have what you need to get the double jump. It’s just a bit of a trek to get to it

Every day I wake up and immediately think about how Team Cherry are absolute dickheads for the shard system. I hate it so much. It actively makes the game more tedious and less fun. Let me go wild with tools, they have a limited amount of uses between benches anyway

Can you let me know which map region it's in? All the unexplored exits I see in my map feel like I need the double jump for so guess I'm just overlooking something

I mostly agree with you, but I think there is some merit to how it kinda forces you to take a break from hard gauntlets / bosses to go get more shards. I just think the density of hard gauntlets / bosses is probably a bit too high so instead of getting more shards being "explore a new area of the map you haven't gone to yet" it becomes "grind for a bit" which isn't fun

  16. I usually farm rosaries from the tall guys at the top of Choral Chambers then use them to buy shard bundles. You shouldn't be entering new areas or gauntlets/boss fights with loose rosaries anyway, either spend them or string them up. You can carry up to 20 shard bundles, that should be more than enough to get through a boss if you're having trouble

I mean, I agree, resource management is an inconvenience. But there are things you can do about it, so it's not the most annoying thing

Mount Fay, to the left of the bell beast location in The Slab

Edit: Unless you mean clawline, which is in the Underworks

Last night I got to a point where I was on a platform and there was a flying guy and then a ring but tried 10+ times and couldn't get enough pogo height to reach the ring. So figured I needed double jump for that. But I guess maybe it was just a skill issue

I think the issue is that the yield from run-of-the-mill exploring is so low that it FORCES you to grind somewhere more worthwhile

If it's the spot I'm thinking of in Mount Fay, you should be able to grapple to the bug to get up to the ring

I'm still jealously reading the thread but had to be honest with myself and uninstall the game :tear: Shit is just too hard

yeah definitely agree. If I'm exploring a new area so dying a lot I can rack them up fast but if I'm just back tracking to use a new ability in an area you don't get too much

Delivery quests are not fun. If any of these are required for any significant progress or upgrades which it appears it is then that’s my first serious flaw with the game.

Courier’s Rasher is required for a major upgrade

  25. Make sure you get all traversal abilities available before doing that one
