It's wild to think how much stuff I haven't found yet despite thinking I had pretty thoroughly explored all of the Act 1 areas I had discovered
I went through Sinner’s Road, and then the Mist, and ended up in Exhaust Organ and fought that boss. Was so confused reading through the thread and not seeing it mentioned lol
Oh that's the other path the guide I looked at mentioned. I did bring it up in here but it was spoiler tagged so maybe you didn't see it
Genuine question, how did you figure out how to get through the mist? I had to look that up, didn’t see any indication of the solution ingame
randomly happened upon oil while doing a puzzle in the vaults haha that whole area was kinda a struggle bc i missed the map pickup and had to look up where it was this game is already so huge even the littler areas between larger areas are big
I think the clue may be in the initial room of the Mist, maybe even the one before the title card. When you enter it and get near the butterflies, they all head towards the exit. It's incredibly subtle but that's the only thing I noticed. I also looked it up after growing tired of the wraiths and getting nowhere.
Yeah I assumed they meant something so I kept trying a bunch of things around them until I remembered you can shred
nevermind, i didn't know how the gimmick worked lol also, went back to Sinner's Road to check anything i missed..... don't know if it was worth it, lol. what a miserable place...
Sinner’s Road is perfectly fine with enough strength/mobility upgrades. It’s Bilewater that *always* sucks bc of how prominent the water is + the guys that endlessly jump up and attack
wild statement i have no idea what/where Bilewater is, but if it's related to the maggot-infested water that fucks me up everytime you can KEEP IT
It’s the area connected to east side of Sinner’s Road. Can’t remember what/if any upgrades you need to access it, but you can definitely do it in Act 2, though it would be a waste of time to try to really get through it all without double jump + clawline abilities for greater mobility
I truly hate the enemy gauntlets in this game, and the one in High Halls can get fucked into hell forever
ALSO, just got the claw line ability now... to remember all the places i have to backtrack to in order to use it, lol
beat it. 95%, 100 hours. got the mister mushroom ending too lol HUGE ENDING SPOILERS DO NOT HIGHLIGHT: I KNEW the Knight would come back and say hi!! now that's a fucking ending. I also LOVE the needle and pin on the surface and the menu... Hornet and Lace took off together to a new land SO CUTE 12/10. perfect game. all of my gripes in retrospect are petty and have to do with my own shortcomings as a Gamer™️ took me exactly two weeks to beat! I'd like to thank temporary unemployment for making this possible that was worth 6 years you guys. 100%. well, 95%. I'm gonna look stuff up now, like where the last silk upgrade and where the other crest that Eva's talking about is
oh this is maybe my only gripe. team cherry was like hey bro we spent a lot of time on these enemies so how bout some gauntlets
damn I missed a lot of shit in whiteward. the last spool fragment and some hidden passageway. I already beat the unraveled tho edit: holy fuck that's a lot of corpses lol
FUCK I MISSED AN ENTIRE AREA Verdania???!!? edit: OH SHIT THE GREEN PRINCE! LOOK AT ALL THIS FUCKIN STUFF IN THIS GAME
got double jump. that was hard tho. interestingly enough i had the most trouble with the first portion of that area. i think it just took me a while to get the hang of using grapple on enemies
