i just got a third mask fragment, maybe i should grind a bit to buy the fourth. i'm constantly spending 60, 70, or 80 on benches and maps. sometimes i don't even go back to where i died because i was already at 0 haha
If you don’t feel like going back for your beads then you should just go ahead and die again real quick to get the silk cocoon thing close so you can hit it easily. Because when the silk cocoon is still on the map, you don’t have the benefit of the bonus silk from the spool fragment upgrades I remember once randomly noticing that my silk amount was way below what it normally was and freaked out that some glitch had happened with my and I just lost a ton of bonus silk. Wasn’t until I hit the cocoon that I realized it’s contingent on that Plus hitting the cocoon completely refills your silk to the default amount
I noticed that too yesterday. It’s similar to your soul vessel breaking in the first game and having to defeat your shade to restore it.
Wearing the magnet brooch should prevent rosary beads from being destroyed by spikes. Let me scoop em up! This is my only complaint
Have to relearn all my muscle memory after getting the double jump since it’s bound to the same key as the float
Sinners Road feels like some real bullshit. Multiple tanky enemies that throw projectiles over maggot swamp so you can't use silk anymore. Stupid fucking jammed bench
I've been stuck on Sinners Road for hours. Doing a fucked up platforming gauntlet just to unlock a bench is bad enough, but the run back to even get to that gauntlet is fucking brutal. Feels cheap
Finally got my fourth mask shard! Can't wait to go from dying in three hits to bosses to dying to three hits to bosses!
I'm definitely worried how much I'm struggling on these early bosses if I'll be able to survive late game. I remember some fights in the OG game like the mantis lord challenging me but I don't remember it being one struggle after the another Moorwing took like 2 hours Splinter sister maybe more like 90 minutes Even the big skull guy tyrant still probably took like 45 minutes despite objectively being a pretty easy fight all things considered But one thing I discovered I really appreciate with the game design is splinter sister strategy spoilers It really rewards using your spell. If you save your silk just to heal the later stages are basically impossible. But if you liberally use your spell to one shot those flying guys when they appear or break a bunch of vines at once the right becomes a whole lot more manageable Really hope there are other fights that get you to mix up your strategy, swap your load out around
for anyone else that skipped Moorwing because of the Flea Caravan quest, he reappears outside of the beltway station and the NPC doesn't come for this one lol. I found this out the hard way while doing the quest to find Tipp's brother. also, team cherry added another delicate flower quest but made it even harder this time because of course they did. I'll grind that one out another day.
i was trying to go back to the gauntlet where shakra comes and helpsbut i totally forgot how to get there haha anyway, i think i'm gonna take a break from the game for a couple of days, for no particular reason related to the game itself. i think getting lost just showed me how tired i am--not of the game, just in general.
there's a way to fix the jammed bench and it's pretty simple. Putting the solution is a different spoiler below if you don't want it in the same room as the jammed bench on the left side up on the higher part of the wall, there's a breakable section that leads to a path that takes you to the vines you need to destroy in order to unjam the bench
Yeah, but I'm frequently dying/getting wormed before I even get to that part. That bugs that throw the tacks at you are such a pain in the ass. They bounce 100 times and stay forever, so while you're fighting multiple bugs at once it's a shitshow. This is the first area that is really giving me problems. nvm I’m literally the dumbest guy and have been taking an extra hard route for no reason
Took me forever to find that shortcut too if it’s the one I’m thinking about. I’d recommend just trying to hit the spikes back at him. They’ll often hit him and it only takes a few hits to kill em.
I've lost over 1,000 rosaries combined in Sinners Road. This entire are feels like it's intentionally made to be cheap.
