After my confidence boost on broken vessel I'm now getting absolutely pasted by the second hornet fight. I've got really close a couple of times. Taking a break for tonight but I'll get her tomorrow.
I did! I went for a bit of a cheese strat in the end based on this: That charm set up really worked - the quick slash is in kingdoms edge if you don't already have it. Then just hammer her with attacks in the corner, attack through the invincibility you get from being hit, and heal when she's staggered. I felt like I was so close to getting her with more respectable strats, but after probably 30+ attempts I was ready to move on.
It took me way too long to figure out that different charms are more effective against different bosses. Total game-changer.
Just found the enraged guardian in Crystal Peak. I know it's a perfectly doable fight but fuck that guy.
Ugh, genuinely don't know if I've got what it takes for the watcher knights. I can only get one down so far before getting wrecked.
bro, it took me probably MONTHS (if i'm remembering correctly) to beat them and that includes leaving and grinding to get the Unbreakable Strength charm
A couple of times now I've got the first two down, but I was getting too frustrated so I had to walk away. I'm tempted to go after unbreakable strength but that's a tough grind. Just gonna take a lot of practice I guess.
lmao, yeah it took a long time to grind that much geo. have you already "loosened" one of the chandeliers, if you know what i mean?
didnt know there was a thread. might be time to play through this again. i never did the grimm troupe DLC stuff.
Watcher Knights were top three for sure. I think Lost Kin and Soul Master might’ve been tougher for me. I gotta play this again sometime soon
my two biggest brick walls were traitor lord and the radiance. the latter took me a full six hours of in game play time to beat.
Watcher Knights took me actual months towards beating (including upgrading everything i had) Traitor Lord def took me dozens of tries too. after beating the game and getting first ending, i haven't managed to beat any of the dream versions of the three main bosses to get enough essence to get into the White Palace. that's DEF a barrier that i never overcame, lol. now i haven't played the game in months and i lost the groove...
This thread really had me dreading the Watcher Knights but I took them down in less than 10 tries last night which is definitely quicker than a lot of previous bosses. Spending a lot of time in the Colosseum of Fools seems to have definitely made me a better player.
Kudos for sticking with it for so long. I was certain we would get a silksong date at E3 but now who knows.
I bought this game two weeks ago, put in 44 hours (I work 45 hours a week), I'm at 85%. Just completed the white palace which was invented by the devil. I love this game.
Just watched a YouTube walkthrough on the a White Palace because it’s been so long I forgot what it was like. Genuinely can’t believe I have played and completed that lol it’s an insane map The only area I bailed on entirely was the Path Of Pain. Can’t remember how far I made it but it couldn’t be more than like 10%
