I lost like 9000 once and felt such an overwhelming wave of panic that I had to just leave the house and go have lunch lol
I FINALLY BEAT THE GAME FOR THE FIRST TIME!! got the "The Hollow Knight" achievement. i hadn't played in so long that my timing was SO fucking off, lol. lost embarrassingly the first time. i was actually surprised when it was over, didn't think i had done much damage to him. it was so fucking exciting though.
i think i’ve only lost 4,000 geo or so, but i keep my bank at full capacity and always spend my “walking around” geo on whatever i can find to spend it on, trying to never carry more than 500-1,000. also haven’t tried any of the much harder post-game stuff. does your max bank storage ever expand?
Finally got this, spent about 40 minutes exploring this morning. I can tell its gonna kick my ass all over the place, but even some of the smaller enemies are really satisfying when you get their patterns. Looking forward to sinking some proper time into this.
I think playing this game as much as I did inadvertently made Cuphead a lot easier for me to play through
Yup definitely for me too. Roguelikes, in general, have made me a better gamer too, between Enter the Gungeon, Issac and Dead Cells.
Well, got to Greenpath this evening and am totally enamoured with this game. It's charming, the exploration is rewarding, and it's challenging in a really satisfying way. Only gripe so far is it can be frustrating getting sent all the way back to a bench after every death - particularly with the bosses I just want to get straight back into the fight.
