Hockey Dad - Blend Inn (February 9, 2018) Album

Didn't see a thread and I discovered this album the other day and love it. Album is in this weird triage of surf rock, punk, and garage rock.

FFO: Culture Abuse, Pup, Violent Soho.

 

This band/album rules. They kill it live too.

They have yet to tour the US for this album and I"ll fucking lose it when they do. My Stride, I Wanna Be Everybody, Join The Club, Whatever, and Stalker are ALL certified bangers.

 

Uh, yes they have? I saw them this past summer with Cold Fronts and Mt. Eddy. Dates are also popping up for an early 2019 US tour.

 

Must have happened literally right before I discovered them then. Whoops.

Damn no Ohio dates... Blend Inn is top 5 AOTY for me. I saw them on the frights tour last year. Talked to them after the set too. Real nice dudes

Hockey Dad was my most played artist of the year. I Wanna Be Everybody is my 2nd most listened to song of 2018

 

very sick of these terrible band names as well. totally lacks originality. at this point it feels like a parody of itself.
