I see this is one of those “here is the entire movie” trailers.

 

The Samoa scenes might be better in the overall film but they felt really forced in the trailer.

 

This is going to be the best movie I've ever seen in my life

 

Should be the title of every movie.

I hate that he seems like an entirely different character than Hobbes - completely dropped the hardass schtick. The island stuff is fucking stupid too - even for this series.

 

This continues to look like one of the most ridiculous films ever made and I cannot wait.

 

I forgot this is coming out so soon. That snuck up on me.

I wasn't overly interested in this but I saw a promo while one of the F&F movies was on yesterday where Elba slides seamlessly from the ground onto a self-driving, transforming motorcycle and it was sick. I think I'm in on this movie now.

 

I'm so hyped for this. A bit odd there's been no early reactions yet, unless they're just keeping it very tight-lipped.

 

I'm anticipating really shitty reviews but the movie will still be a blast

 

I think the reviews will be good, the last 4 entries have been fresh per Rotten Tomatoes, and I think this will be pretty par for the course as long as they don't try to shake up the formula too much.

 

Excited to see Vanessa Kirby kicking ass again. Will be watching this without having seen a single F&F movie before. It's a spinoff, so I'll be fine, right? It's not out yet, so who knows haha. Trailers make this seem pretty self-contained.

 

There’s a pretty significant backstory between The Rock and Stathams characters that you may want to look into. It’s handled pretty chunkily in the series, so it doesn’t really matter...but they may allude to it.

This did exactly what you would expect it to do: Ridiculous action sequences, cheesy subplots about family, dad jokes galore, Vanessa Kirby kicking ass. The trailers pretty much give it all away, minus a few fun cameos. But it’s still a good time.
