There are some really rough lyrics all over this record, but I’m especially shocked Her Eyes Say Yes was included on this pressing. Talk about a song that has no business existing or being revived in 2023

 

Was unaware of that song. Wtf. Horrendous even by the fairly incel standards of the original era.

it was the hidden track that was tacked on to the end of "make a run for it" -- pretty sure there weren't even lyrics in the linear notes of the CD.

 

that is correct, it wasn't listed on the back either. it's just a cheeky song not to be taken seriously, the full title was her eyes say yes but the restraining order says no if i remember correctly, i completely forgot about it as im super not really into acoustic songs a whole lot.. i did however go back to the b-side stick up off it, that song rips!

 

Yeah, it's not meant to be taken seriously. Of course chorus will try and find a way to get offended by it haha

 

I mean with lyrics that rape coded, of course people are going get offended. That's pretty yikes

I found my copy in the clearance section at Hot Topic a long time ago when they still sold vinyl. I remember getting it with a Silverstein record and something else all for under 25 bucks
