The lyrics on this one are real heavy. Incredible.

 

Another incredible HGM album.

 

This gets ten times better every time I listen through.

 

Saw these guys last night for like the 5th time and they killed it as usual.

I will say that this album hasn’t had the staying power and replay value that all of their previous albums have. I still enjoy it and have listened to it a ton, but as of right now I’d probably say it’s my least favorite HGM record. Something just feels different on this album and I’m not sure what exactly it is.

 

Yeah agreed that this new one doesn't hit like the older ones.

 

If you like live albums this is about as good as it gets. Hear Like A Levee and Jesus Shot Me in the Head are especially incredible on here.

 

Digital release of the upcoming Record Store Day 7-inch. So dang good. Both of these songs are some of my favorites that he’s ever written.

 

Saw MC perform solo this past weekend. He mentioned he has a new album coming out in March and he played a couple new tunes from in that sounded great.

It was my first show all year. The City Winery here in Nashville put up an outdoor tent so they could support socially distanced concerts. It was really well put together. Hiss is pretty much my favorite band so I jumped at the opportunity to finally see a show again.

 

This is so unexpected but awesome. Of all his albums to get this level of recognition, I would have never guessed it’d be this one.
