So, it's been a few days with this record. Honestly diggin this SOOOOOOOO hard.
Agreed, I've had it on repeat since it came out.
too much gritty for 1 page
wrong. not enough Gritty for one page.
what is a gritty?
"Gritty is a 7-foot furry orange creature with googly-eyes who wears Flyers' gear."
They need to play the whole album on their upcoming tour, just do it please.
Finally seeing them live tonight!
Fuck this album is so good
Hippo Campus has become one of my favorite new bands. Really got into them in 2017 with their two releases and this past year with Bambi and seeing them live really solidify them as one of the best "modern" bands imo.
They absolutely blew me away on their last tour. Sooooo good live.
Seriously amazing and the whole crowd feeds off their energy. It was so much fun! One of the best shows I went to last year.
I hate myself for missing this album (and band) from last year. This would have easily been one of my favorite albums for 2018.
Ya'll, this might be my favorite band now. I cannot quit listening to Bambi and Landmark. I've listened to 'Epitaph' probably 50 times in the last month.
They're incredible. Have you listened to their EPs yet?
I have, and they're great as well. Crazy how good this band is.
100%. Check em out live any chance you get.
You should have put in on the Slack EOY list so that my #1 ranking wasn’t the only mention of this album
I think I need to give this album another chance. I really enjoyed their EPs but haven’t really clicked with either album, but I’m going to give Bambi another listen today.
Honestly, I can't decide if Bambi or Landmark is better, but I know they're both amazing in their own ways.
I think I like my favorites on Landmark more than my favorites on Bambi, but that Bambi is a better/more cohesive album front to back
Agree with that. Vines, Epitaph, Western Kids, Vacation are among the best songs in their catalog imo, but Bambi is the better album overall by a slight edge.
There's been a lot of songs released through this youtuber. Are these all b-sides?
