Gone right off Young Thug since he did that mixtape with Chris Brown. Was just properly getting into him too. Ah well.

 

yeah, its unfortunate. even more unfortunate is the sheer amount of rappers and r&b artists collabing with him or some other similarly problematic artist. it's like impossible to find one who hasn't. hard for me to figure out where to draw the line TBH. personally i just avoid all tracks chris brown is featured in.

 

Thug himself has abuse allegations, on top of homophobia/transphobia stuff. Super unfortunate

Tbf there’s plenty of sing songy auto tune clones of him out there, not hard to find someone similar if I’m in the mood for that kinda of stuff.

Not denying any of this, but I'm looking up those allegations and they all seem to come from these shady outlets referencing a tweet that his ex made that included the phrase "abuse and misuse" and not necessarily in the context of domestic abuse. It seems like a stretch to me. Is there anything else out there that goes into more detail?

 

Yeah, this is super disappointing. I won't support Thug financially, but just like Kanye, he's released enough good material to make me curious enough to at least listen (though Kayne's output has been so bad the last however many times, I'm done even giving him a cursory listen)

 

here's another one from a few days ago that I missed...

 

I mean they date back to 2017. I think his tweets saying “you’re going to die” might still even be up. He also assaulted a woman on camera a few years back. For some reason, those articles aren’t coming up on google as quickly as they have when I posted about them before
