I do an album review project where kids choose an artist then I choose an artist. I had one of them do Alfredo and they're all digging it, which is dope. Tribe...not so much

    Fun must be always. Prestigious

thanks to the Isaiah Rashad sampling of Three 6 Mafia all I’m going to listen today is Three 6 Mafia. I just really love that southern sound.

Super What rips, might be my favourite Czar since Every Hero Needs a Villain

"This is Canon Now" is honestly the most fun I've had with hip-hop all year

This is a pretty interesting release, though very brief, from J Period. Almost feels more like a musical or stage play than the first part of the album, and it's by design. I wish the whole album was out at once, but this is a nice tease of what could be

features Dave Chapelle, Black Thought, Masego, Shad, Rozwell, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Joell Ortiz

And an accompanying mixtape, "Listen to J.PERIOD’s tribute to Hip Hop’s best storytellers, including remixes of Slick Rick, Nas, DMX, Biggie, OutKast, Q-Tip, Latifah and more!!"

He was on the last Juan Ep episode. Pt. 2 and 3 are supposed to be out soon at least.

Nice, I was wondering if there was any sense of timeline. I think it's a cool concept overall, will be interested in hearing the whole thing together

ridiculously too soon. At the very least, I hope this is a project that he was working on and at least mostly finished.

I believe it was finished. I do recall hearing he had an album almost completed prior to his death that had a lot of huge guest stars.

OK that's at least better than a rushed together cash grab of unfinished music

I have listened to so much CZARFACE this week it's unhealthy

even the albums I initially thought were misses like Fistful and Odd Czar are honestly still solid. Every Hero... is pretty close to what I'd call a modern classic. Metalface and Ghostface collabs both have some pacing issues but they still slap. great discog
