Well anyways listening to the new KEY! album for the first time and I’m into it
really getting to the Chris Crack releases from last year esp good cops don't exist.
sounds like he's "stable"
Holy fuck if we lost Dre and DOOM within like a week I don't know what would have happened
I really need to listen to more Chris Crack. I've always liked what i've heard, both him and Tree are extremely underrated. And it's not like I have any excuse to not listen to him, he's released 13 albums in the past 3 years!
I'm always worried about posts like the last one Dre put on IG. Paranoid that it's his team putting it out there to try and calm people when, in reality, he may not be doing well. I have no reason to believe he isn't fine, but my emotions are shot after DOOM and i'm not sure I can deal with losing Dre too. If DOOM got me back into rap, Dre was the one who got me into it in the first place.
Fingers crossed he's ok
I know it’s irrational, but output like that actively turns me off of artists.
The LL tweet makes me think they talked, so it’s probably all legit
Nah, I don't think it's irrational. But being the old heads that we are, we're used to one album every 3 years or more from our favourites, not 13 haha
My issue is when I see people say "I need some new stuff from *insert rapper here*". You know, the same rapper that put out an album 12 months ago. Mate, you can't have fully digested that last album yet. Go back to it or find something else to listen to!
there is so much good shit in Chicago that it can be intimidating especially Chris' discography.
another tape I've very into lately
Me too. When I'm getting into an artist I'm an absolute completionist to the point where it bothers me if I skip an album, and when an artist has a really daunting discography I always procrastinate and go to easier ones
Lots of collabs on this
Griselda Conflicted soundtrack is out
and the movie's out next Friday!!!
Weird that there's no Conway
From King to a God might be my favorite Griselda project wow. The beats are so varied, and Conway is rapping his ass off.
I think Lemon Squeeze was my favorite song of 2020.
