Give me those Tyler features. He was great on Westside earlier this year

I’m quite excited for LB3. Think the singles are at least solid and tbh I dig LB2 and N2P more than most, I think. Whack, Tyler, and Rocky track has me most curious.

I can't help but laugh at "not a kid anymore" but saying "no singing songs" lol

No singing? Suddenly I’m interested in a Yachty project.

    New Freddie already!? Nice

Wasn’t the Freddie/Curren$y tape all Alchemist produced too?

It was. Don’t listen to that enough, need to change that. I think I probably would if Curren$y wasn’t on it. I have nothing against him, but he’s the weak link in that project by far.

If there's any producer that Freddie Gibbs has to work with than Madlib, I'd want it to be The Alchemist. Holy shit, fucking hyped

I used to love Curren$y, but everything post Pilot Talk 2 has been underwhelming as fuck

I'm really surprised by this Gunna album. Other than Uzi, I can't think of another album from this sphere that might be better than it (incredibly low bar but the point stands). Production is really great and Gunna finds his way on ever beat. Feels like something I could really get lost in with some headphones on. Far from the best thing I've heard this year but certainly unexpected.

I dunno why but I never really enjoy Gunna as anything more than background music. It's not bad but I feel like he's got the least amount of vocal energy as his contemporaries. I got about halfway through his new one and nothing stood out.

For those that don’t know, George Floyd was also a rapper known as Big Floyd and was part of the Houston rap scene surrounding DJ Screw.

    They were frequent collaborators:

Big Floyd and his crew Presidential Playas also put out an album in 2000 called “Block Party”:

He was also Cal Wayne’s mentor:

I’m not completely sure about this, but I think he was also behind Presidential Records, which put out projects by legends such as Z-Ro and Lil’Keke.

    R.I.P. George “Big Floyd” Floyd.
