I thought Slaughterhouse was a lot of wasted potential too. Same goes for all the rappers in it though so it all adds up, haha.

I’m not trying to come down on you for liking Royce btw. He just never did it for me.

The Boldy James and The Professionals albums are the only ones I’ve listened to properly. Both a good, but nothing has wowed me so far.

But we are only half way through February, so...

Hot take I know but I really didn't like some of the production on the Professionals album

Lolol I do that too sometimes, always nice to see those third tier Memphis rappers names pop up from time to time

I don’t have an issue with Madlibs beats, but after Bandana, anyone other than Freddie rapping on them sound below par.

Not sure I've ever heard Madlib production outside of the Freddie albums and Madvillany but the Professionals beats definitely felt subpar compared to those

I think Denzel and Key Glock are the only ones this year so far that I've gotten into.

Key Glock got the album of the year for me so far. Denzel was cool too.

  20. Roddy Ricch played my school last night. Such a great show, apart from how much I love his music he's genuinely an excellent performer and does a lot more heavy-lifting vocals wise than a lot of his contemporaries. Crowd was insane too.

    hey you lil piss baby

That new Kamaiyah tape is tight. Kinda never expected to be that into her stuff again after I didn't really click with anything since A Good Night in the Ghetto. We'll see if this one holds up like that one does, but I'm impressed.
