Apparently Monster was just added to streaming services. It was under new releases on Google Music, so I thought it was something new. My mistake.

I am probably the only one in this thread who likes Macklemore. I am intrigued by this album idea.

He is pretty decent live too. Gemini is probably his weakest album though so hopefully it is better than that.

I'm sure he is good live, he was a respected battle/freestyle rapper at some point

I remember buying tickets in 2012 to see him at The Grog Shop in Cleveland before Thrift Shop & The Heist dropped...and then those two were released and he blew up and the show got moved to House of Blues (which they oversold) and it was awesome. I really liked his pre-The Heist stuff. The Heist was OK but all the newer cuts were not that great (the best songs were re-releases). And then of course, he just became really corny so I stopped following him, but I definitely enjoyed his EPs and The Other Side Remix with Fences is still a song that I throw on regularly.

I think he's completely inoffensive and he gave Eric Nally a quick bit of fame and took him on world tours, so that alone is pretty great

  20. I was a huge fan of "Wings" and "Otherside" back in the day. First time I saw him was at Rock The Bells 2011, and he played at like noon or something. 2 years later he was top of the bill behind Black Hippy at Paid Dues 2013. I loved The Heist when it came out, but I haven't revisited it in a long time, so idk how it holds up for me.

Also, wow look at these line-ups. Two of my earliest concert-going experiences, and they were so much fun.

Damn, that 2011 line up is amazing. The number of classics that were played in their entirety!
