Yeah- listened to that EP once and probably wont return to it. I can appreciate the lyrical shift but i havent been thoroughly impressed by his music in awhile.

 

the rest of the EP is boring but I like the first song a lot

 

I just listened to it and I thought it was decent.

Some really cool instrumentals on that Future EP but I think his rapping and singing kind of drags it down. Shotgun would be so much more interesting if he gave a better performance on it.

 

I love his performance on Shotgun actually, that chorus is great

 

Yeah I really love Shotgun, probably my favorite on the EP but I really like the whole thing. Please Tell Me is a banger.

Don't know that I had even heard his name before last night, but this Polo G album got BNM and it might be my favorite hip hop record of the year based off my initial listen. RIYL: Lil Durk, melodic Chief Keef, drill with hooks for days

 

Finally saw Denzel Curry last night. Weird seeing him with the majority of the crowd being teenage girls and parents but it was fun regardless. Felt super uncomfortable when he made the crowd put their hands up/forearms together to make an X to honor XXXtentacion.

Random but I’m pissed off that the Save The Last Dance OST version of Fredro Starr’s Shining Through (Feat. Jill Scott) isn’t on Spotify, but only the regular album version. Streaming services really haven’t been good to pre-2010s non-album rap music.
