They exploited his violence against others for profit, then exploited violence against him for profit. It’s very consistent if it wasn’t so soulless.

 

Plus they exploit a lot of kids that can identify with a lot of the sadness etc. in his music by turning them into free social media PR agents by basically convincing them that his violence is either not true or authentic depending on the fan. F u c k e d u p.

 

If we would have had this exact conversation a month earlier I would have written my corporate sustainability essay about this

Did people not really like Quarterthing?

I feel like there was a lot of hype around Joey Purp when iiidrops came out but I personally like Quarterthing a lot more and haven't really heard anyone mention it at all.

 

Made my honorable mentions. Really like it but could of trimmed some songs imo.

 

I really like Quarterthing, probably more than iiiDrops. It’s just not the vibe that I’ve been into this year.

I could never list songs as I never listen to individual songs and probably couldn’t even name the songs on my album of the year. This Is America is the only single I can think of off the top of my head.

 

How did that song not blow up?

 

I was a huge, huge fan of iiiDrops but Quarterthing was disappointing for me. Not sure why but it just never clicked and I haven't felt the need to go back to it. Maybe I should give it another try
